"One Trip Per Year"
The National Park Service has mandated that no recreational user may participate on more than one recreational trip through any part of the Grand Canyon from Lees Ferry to Diamond Creek of the Colorado river within any given calendar year.
Reservations for any of our scheduled river trips may be requested by telephone or personal visit to our Flagstaff office.
TRIP SCHEDULE - Dates and Rates - 2008
In Arizona telephone 928-526-0924, outside Arizona telephone 800-525-0924, FAX number is 928-527-9398.
Please make a tentative reservation prior to sending deposit to be sure the space you want is available.
Space is not confirmed until we receive full deposit. If this deposit isn't received within 10 days of the reservation request, we must in fairness consider the request cancelled so we can offer the space to others.

The balance of each fare (after deposit) is due in our office by the 90th day before your scheduled river trip starting date. If we haven’t received that balance by the end of that day, we will consider your reservation cancelled by you and offer the space to others.
When you reserve space, if fewer than 90 days remain before the starting date you are requesting, payment of the entire fare is required to make each reservation.
If you have paid your reservation deposit and then fail to remit the balance of your fare when due (on or before the 90th day prior to your trip departure date), we will consider your reservation request to have been cancelled by you. We may then resell your space(s) and retain your reservation deposit.

Your reservation deposit and any additional payments, less the booking fee explained above, will be refunded to you if we receive your written cancellation notice in our office on or before the 90th day in advance of your scheduled river trip starting date.
Also, on or before that 90th day, all reservation deposits and other payments you have made to us are transferable to another trip date for you (subject to space available,) or for some other person you designatebut only for a different river trip that same river season. However, if you pass this 90th day and then ask us to rebook you or your designee to a different date (and if we agree to such transfer) on which the 90th day deadline hasn’t yet passed, your payments are still forfeited to us if you then cancel the new date, even if cancellation is outside the new 90th day deadline. A new reservation deposit is then required to book a space within that same season or in another season.
If you cancel, and we receive your written cancellation notice in our office on the 89th day (or less) from your scheduled river trip starting day, we will retain your full fare, including reservation deposit. If, however, you have to cancel because of a death, an injury, illness, or disease, an insurance company may reimburse the payments you've made to you if you’ve purchased Trip Cancellation Insurance. The cost is quite low. We’ll send the insurance information/application form (available to US & Canadian residents only) as soon as we receive your reservation deposit. Remember, trip cancellation insurance protects against those unforeseen circumstances.
Canyoneers, Inc., reserves the right to cancel any trip because of weather or water conditions, insufficient bookings, or any other conditions that would, in our opinion, affect the enjoy ability of the trip. If we cancel for any reason, we will refund all river deposits and fare balances you’ve paid us regardless of payment date. Canyoneers, Inc., is not responsible for any other payments you may have made such as airfare, car rental, or hotel reservations.
